Experience Swiss tradition and folklore on Männlichen. Join to celebrate the mountain spring and enjoy a programme of entertainment by various groups:

Authentic, traditional and unforgettable – the National Costume Festival on Männlichen is an amazing sight. Admire typical national dresses from the various cantons, accompanied by fitting folk music. A unique festival in a unique setting. Folklore performances include dancing in national costume, yodelling duets, an alphorn trio, flag throwing and the whip cracking.
Taking part again this year will be the Trachtengruppe Buochs (national costume group) www.trachten-buochs.ch, who have appeared on Männlichen every year since 1959!

A piece of Swiss history
Since 1912, Friedrich Schiller's drama about the freedom fighter William Tell, is performed on the beautiful natural stage in the "Rugenwald".
About 200 actors - from leading man to the statists are all laymen - the build the big "William Tell" family. Horses, cows and goats are helping to make the open-air theater an impressive experience again and again. Thanks to the covered platform with 2000 seats, the games can be played in all weather conditions.

From Interlaken via Wengen - Eigergletscher to Kleine Scheidegg
The world's most beautiful course! A scenery which you cannot find anywhere else. The course starts in Interlaken and goes into the Jungfrau Region via Lauterbrunnen, Wengen up to the Kleine Scheidegg with its famous mountains Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau.
