Hotel Berghaus - a cozy small business

The Hotel Berghaus is a family-run hotel with 19 rooms, quietly situated with a wonderful view of the Jungfrau massif. Only 7 minutes walk from the train station and 3 minutes from the Männlichen cable car. Our cozy lounge with fireplace and versatile library invites you to linger. In our restaurant and on the sun terrace we serve fish specialties, mainly from Swiss lakes, but also meat lovers and vegetarians feel at home with us.

  • The tourist tax of CHF 4.30 for adults and CHF 1.80 for children is not included in the room rate.
  • Adapters and, if available, telephone charging cables will be provided by the hotel for a dépôt of CHF 20.00.
  • Dogs are welcome at CHF 10.00 per day without food. Possible costs for final cleaning may apply.
  • Eventuelle Kosten für eine Endreinigung können anfallen.

Rooms can be cancelled without charge up to 7 days before arrival. The same applies for late arrival or early departure.
Please note that in case of late arrival or early departure, the confirmed length of stay will be charged. Bad weather, cancelled flights, striking transport companies etc. have no influence on the cancellation conditions. Please take out cancellation insurance before arrival if necessary.

As a much-travelled couple with many stays in hotels, we warmly recommend this lovely little hotel. Fantastic location, best food and extremely clean rooms with a fantastic view of the mountains. We are always amazed at how quiet it is here. Sleep like in heaven.

The view of the Jungfrau, Breithorn etc. is simply spectacular. Guests can enjoy the whole programme, including the alpenglow, preferably over an aperitif on the large terrace. The peaks, glaciers and valleys are best explained by the dedicated and very friendly host family, who also provide the excellent food.
