Reservation and cancellation
Reservations are mandatory, both in written and verbal form. Oral confirmations are only valid for short-term reservations (less than 48 hours). The terms and conditions come into effect with each confirmed reservation. The cancellation conditions are communicated in writing with each confirmation.
Please note that in case of late arrival or early departure, the confirmed length of stay will be charged. Bad weather, cancelled flights, transport companies on strike, etc. have no influence on the cancellation conditions. Please take out a cancellation insurance policy before your arrival.
Travel
Wengen is car-free, you can park at the Bahnhof Parking in Lauterbrunnen. Reservations are possible from 5 days (winter) and 3 days (summer).
From Lauterbrunnen you continue your journey with the Wengernalp train to Wengen. When you arrive, use the free phone (#25) and we will pick you up with your luggage. For direct bookings, the pick-up service from the station is included in the room rate. Arrival time must be announced in advance and after 6:00 p.m., pick-up service is not possible. Check-in is possible until 9pm at the latest.
Arrived
Check-in: from 15:00 to 21:00.
WLAN is available in the hotel and is free of charge.
We serve a hearty breakfast buffet with homemade bread and jam as well as regional products between 7:30 and 9:45. If you wish to eat earlier, please contact the reception in advance. We will also gladly give you a breakfast package to take home.
We will gladly provide you with lunch baskets or sandwiches for your day trip, against payment.
Half-board dinner is served between 6:30 and 8:30 pm. The four-course menu includes a soup, a hot or cold starter, a main course and a dessert. On request, we are also happy to prepare vegetarian dishes. The public restaurant is open from 18:30.
Smoking is not allowed in the entire hotel. Ashtrays are available in front of the hotel and restaurant entrance.
Dogs are welcome at the hotel, but for hygienic reasons they are not allowed in the breakfast room. Dogs must be kept on a leash throughout the house and we ask that you do not allow them on beds or furniture.
Prices are in Swiss francs (CHF), including VAT and service. The tourist tax is not included in the room rate. The hotel has the right to authorize a credit card for the amount of the booked services before the guest’s arrival.
We prefer that you pay in cash, in Swiss francs or in other currencies. Foreign currencies are converted at the daily rate. We also accept Postcard, Maestro, Visa, American Express, MasterCard, JCB and CUP.
Check out
Check-out time is no later than 11:00 am.
The deposit of luggage is of course possible beyond this period.
