Also this year the traditional costume group Buochs www.trachten-buochs.ch, which has been every year on Männlichen since 1959, will be with us!

A musical highlight in August. World-famous chamber musicians play during the Mendelssohn Music Week in the Reformed Church in Wengen.

A piece of Swiss history
Since 1912 Friedrich Schiller’s drama of the freedom hero William Tell has been performed on the magnificent natural stage in the “Rugenwald zu Matten”.
More than 200 actors – from the leading actor to the extras are all laymen – form the big “Tellspiel family”. Horses, cows and goats help to make the open-air theater an impressive experience again and again.
Thanks to the covered grandstand with about 2000 seats, the games can be held in any weather.
