Original, traditional and unforgettable - the traditional costume festival on Männlichen invites you to marvel.
Admire the typical costumes from different cantons, framed by appropriate folk music. A unique festival in front of a fascinating backdrop. The folkloric performances include traditional costume dances, yodel duet, alphorn trio, flag wavers, Innersachweizer Geisslenchlepfer.
Also this year the traditional costume group Buochs www.trachten-buochs.ch, which has been every year on Männlichen since 1959, will be with us!

Mendelssohn Music Week Wengen
A musical highlight in August. World-famous chamber musicians play during the Mendelssohn Music Week in the Reformed Church in Wengen.
Use the opportunity to combine first-class musical performances with a stay in our hotel.

A piece of Swiss history
Since 1912 Friedrich Schiller's drama of the freedom hero William Tell has been performed on the magnificent natural stage in the "Rugenwald zu Matten".
More than 200 actors - from the leading actor to the extras are all laymen - form the big "Tellspiel family". Horses, cows and goats help to make the open-air theater an impressive experience again and again.
Thanks to the covered grandstand with about 2000 seats, the games can be held in any weather.

The Jungfrau Marathon presents you the most beautiful marathon course in the world!
Fantastic the backdrop of the mountain giants, great the changing scenery between start and finish.
A challenge, a challenge, the 1829 meters in altitude between Interlaken and Kleine Scheidegg.
There is no marathon in Europe with such dimensions. Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau Marathon: the most famous triumvirate of the Alps.

At the Chästeilet Wengen, the alpine cheese produced on the alp in summer is split and distributed to the farmers.
